Hi, I couldn't find a contact form, so I figured I would try this here. I just listened to your episode with Dex and really enjoyed it, and I figured that you might have an answer to my question since you are so involved in the podcast audio drama field.

I am in the process of creating an audio drama, but I'm not sure where I can go to set up casting calls. Do you know of any great forums or sites for auditions?

Thanks, and I will continue to listen,
Michael

Thank you for the mention about Imagination Lane! Just a clarification, Science of Deduction is a show I am doing for MisfitsAudio, rather than iLane.

Great job Chris. I think we really need shows like this - and having listened I'm doing exactly what I show like this should do - following your reviews to the linked shows and episodes and listening to them. I'd like to encourage you to keep going with this!

Have linked you up on Vexation Audio etc.

Will keep listening.

Shorter than I'd hoped, Chris - but a clear and concise assessment of your thoughts. As a producer myself I do wonder about the "etiquette" of donations, contributions, subscriptions and so on. There are no hard and fast rules, I guess - but personally, I decided not to ask for them and just put a button on the website for those "in the know" to donate - if it's something they're accustomed to doing.

My own stand point would be that we as producers of audio drama are not "charities" and we need to find ways to monetize our output other than donations.

But I could be completely incorrect. Would be interested to hear others' views on this topic.
